Tim Griffen

The 278 Bypass at Monticello has been opened after a dedication ceremony on a beautiful fall day. Lt Governor Tim Griffin was the keynote speaker.   He talked about Arkansans wanting to be connected and unified by good roads. The bypass is a key part of the future of Interstate 69 running through Arkansas. That highway will eventually stretch from Canada to Mexico.  Arkansas Good Roads Foundation President Dan Flowers also spoke at the event.  New roads like this are a reminder of how communities like Monticello benefit from meaningful highway projects.
